Mung dal pancakes

alkaline dish balanced in vegetable proteins vegan

 

(4 people)

150 gr yellow mung dal
1 small onion
1 clove of garlic
1 tea spoon of grated ginger
1 table spoon curry powder
some fresh coriander leaves
some fresh chili pieces (optional)
water – sea salt – oil

 

Soak  yellow mung dal for 2 or 3 hours.

Chop garlic finely and cut onion in small pieces.

Drain the seeds of mung dal and keep a little water.

Mix to obtain a nice dough and add a little water.

Add salt, curry powder, grated ginger, onion, garlic, chili pepper and coriander leaves.

 

Prepare small pancakes which you cook in a frying pan with a little oil.

Serve with a chutney, a salad or with a meal.


The yellow mung dal can be bought in indian groceriesand in some organic shops.
